An artistic trip to china
July 28, 2008
I don't know if any of you were able to make it to the Drums of West Africa concert at the City Market on Friday, but it was a spectacular opportunity to expose my daughter and some of her friends to a beautiful art from from another country. It opened up discussions on what animals live in Africa, what they eat and how they live. She even found an enormous map at a store and asked "Hey, where's Read more...

The Indy Jazz Fest will occur for three days over the Read more...

May 30, 2008
Hello. I don't have a musical bone in my body except for maybe the one behind my left big toe that allows me to enjoy music. With that said I've noticed that I haven't really offered my daughter all there is to be had as far as music is concerned. I've kept it to the preschooler classics on long car rides and some of my favorite stuff around the house. This being said, if her body is teeming Read more...
